The Sony VPL VW 11 HT is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 1000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 700:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
Cinema Black mode has been significantly improved. In contrast to its predecessor, the contrast value and thus the black level have been significantly improved. The longer lamp life also saves you money.

connecting the PS3
hello everyone
tried to connect my ps3 to the beamer the other day but to no avail. input A and input B don‘t recognize any signal sent by the ps3. is it because of the plug connection? because I don‘t know exactly how the connections have to be plugged in. is there something special to switch in the settings of the beamer?
I hope someone has a good answer for me. thanks

1366x768 ONLY at 56 HZ
Hello,
A tip for everyone!
If you want to use the native resolution (1366x768) of the projector from the computer (with VGA5BNC (RGBHV), then you have to "force" the computer to send the signal out at 56 HZ! Then it works great!
I also looked for the Wolff on the Internet first, but then I found it.
Under Windoof: use PowerStrip
Under MacOS X: DisplayConfig X or SwitchResX
Under Linux: edit the modlines by hand!
Other than that, I‘m very happy with the projector I got for a buck on Ebay!!! :-)
cheers

HDTV Top beamer - ahead of its time!
Even though the beamer has been around for several years, it still belongs in the reference list. It processes HD signals via YUV and some current projectors can‘t achieve the uniformity of brightness without a hotspot. At the time, the street price was DM 15,000. A fantastic projector!!!

super home-cinema device
I got it cheaply from 2nd hand and am super happy with it.
One disadvantage is that it doesn‘t accept a 16:9 format like WXGA via RGBHV. The SXGA image cannot be displayed in full width either. So if you want to play your HD movies from your laptop, you‘ll have to make do with an image converter to component to be able to use the full power of the projector.

RGBHV with this projector?
Have this projector and it delivers a top picture.
Now a question: I connect my laptop to the projector via VGA -> 5BNC (RGBHV) and get no picture. Is the projector RGBHV compatible? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for a quick answer.
