The Sony VPL CX75 is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 2500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 350:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
