The projector PLV Z700 by Sanyo utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 235 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

I would have wanted to continue watching with the PLV-Z4 if the Full HD and the low price of the PLV-Z700 hadn‘t tempted me.the purchase was worth it due to the significantly improved picture quality! As a real moviegoer, I am thrilled! Only the build quality of the case is unfortunately no longer that of a PLV-Z4

Beamer runs daily, as otherwise no TV set available. I am completely satisfied with the device. Super picture and very flexible mounting thanks to lens shift. Only the standby of measured 13 watts is a bit annoying, although the manual speaks of <1W.
