The technical data of the Sanyo PLC XU88 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Hello first of all to everyone I have the PLC-XU88/w projector and it‘s really great
- the picture in movies is amazing but I can only say good things about it except for the black
- contrast in the movie the black bar is not so dark but that doesn‘t matter.
