As a projector, the Sanyo PLC SL20 combines LCD technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 1700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 350:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 1700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 239 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
