The PLC XU78 model is a LCD projector from Sanyo, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 450:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.

Very nice projector, even if there is no real black. On the other hand, you‘re only out €50 if you ever need a replacement lamp. That‘s really unbeatable value for money! I ordered a converter so that I could also connect HDMI devices. Just search for HD Video Converter HDMI V1.3 to VGA 1080 Ultimate. But be careful!!! There are two versions, one with HDMI-OUT and one with HDMI-IN. HDMI-IN is of course required. And to Sharaf‘s question, even if it is a bit older: Disconnect the projector from the power supply, then hold down the Select button and reconnect the power. Now wait until the power button flashes. That‘s all there is to it.

my projector is locked,how do i get the lock out again???
