A projector from Sanyo is the PLC XU87, whose LCD model delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 500:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
