Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the PLC XP18E projector from Sanyo projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 700:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
