The PLV Z2 is a LCD projector by Sanyo, whose specifications list 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 269 cm can be illuminated with 700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 179 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 27 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.
