The PLV Z2000 model from Sanyo combines LCD technology in the High-End Homecinema sector with 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Lens Shift Calculator is available for room planning. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

This projector has blown me away.
After I had a Sanyo Z3 and was thrilled I wanted to stay with Sanyo.
Beamer was however already Fmusste alibriert and with C4H tuning so I did not have to adjust long.
Beamer set up and the beamer blew me away.
No comparison to the Z3 super sharp and high-contrast image,
very natural colors.
A super projector

Top projector
Bought the projector second-hand.
Simply top with C4H tuning.
Connected and could hardly believe it.
Previously had a Z3.
Only recommended.

No regrets after 2 years
Have been using the projector for 2 years. Hasn‘t even caused any problems yet. Requires AT LEAST one day of research on the Internet and adjustment work until the settings are suitable for a good picture. If you don‘t want to invest the time, it‘s better to keep your hands off the device. However, it can also be adjusted very flexibly to different lighting conditions. Works best with HD players (upscaling is mediocre, my DVD player can do better). Is audible but not too loud (Eco mode too dim for 240cm picture width). Shutter clearly too slow and loud, must be switched off!

For this price/ Unbeatable
Very fine and quiet projector.
With the right control a fantastic picture.
There are plenty of setting tips on the net.
Accompanied by a PC and you can‘t help but be amazed.
Only the contrast enhancement using shutters can be safely deactivated.
Somewhat sluggish.

Great device if you set it up.
So! Out of the box................Ok, it works and the image is good.
Then, on the advice of my cinema consultant, I bought the Digital Video Essentials HD BASICS BluRay and set it up.
The difference is clearly visible and the image improves.
Well, the disc is in English, but its very easy to understand. As I said, this projector is unbeatable as FullHD at this price. Compared to a 3500, - device, it is not worth the price difference to me.
Unrestricted purchase recommendation!

the ultimate hammer piece
I can‘t agree with the previous speaker.
If you want a moderate, dull, weak picture like in the cinema, then you should do as he does, but if you are looking for an impressive three-dimensional picture, which in my opinion no other projector currently offers, then take a look at the
part, of course with the usual suspect settings.
I‘m thrilled with it and it‘s not my first projector.

Lots of shade little light
I have seen it in different versions !
Out of the box rather unusable. The artificial gamma adjustment and the BC mode have nothing in common with real cinema.
In C4H Tuning a different device, really good.
In C4H Ultra also good, but I liked it better without Ultra.
