According to Sanyo, the PLC WXE46 model provides 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 500:1 alongside a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 100 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
