With the PLV Z4000, Sanyo offers a LCD projector that features 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 65000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
I use the device in a completely darkened room (basement cinema) on a 3m wide screen (1.5 gain) and the picture has a crisp sharpness (assuming the appropriate software) and great colors. The right device for movie lovers!

Price-performance super
The projector has an excellent picture and is very quiet. The brightness in dark rooms is very good. Unusable in non-darkened rooms during the day. We use it in the living room in the evening or with the blinds partially down (summer) and are very satisfied, especially because of the low fan noise.
