According to Sanyo, the PLC XU41 model provides 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 400:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.

It‘s ok so far - brightness is optimal in ecomode (it‘s a bit too bright for me in normal mode). Saving the settings works without problems (settings on the video input signal can be saved separately up to 5 settings)
What is annoying is the loud humming of the fan.
