The Sanyo PLC SU50S is a LCD projector offering 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 450:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 259 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
