The Sanyo PLC XF31E is a LCD projector that brings 5200 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 800:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 628 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 419 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
