The projector PLC WXU10E by Sanyo operates as a LCD device with 2000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 400:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.

I‘m actually very happy with the projector, if it wasn‘t for the loud fan.
After seeing another projector at a friend‘s that cools almost silently, it‘s getting on my nerves more and more.

Can definitely be recommended as an entry-level projector in the HD world
Have tested the projector for lamp replacement in the workshop. Can be used as an entry-level device without restrictions, whether for presentations or home theater. A little too bright at 2000 Ansi lumens, little black gradation, but still sufficient. Tested in Eco mode with 1000 Ansi lumens. Colors are poorly calibrated ex works, manual fine adjustment is the remedy. Currently available for approx. 500 EUR. Very easy to transport, lots of accessories. Fits
Please do not compare with Epson TW700 or similar special home cinema devices!!!

Great projector, but much too loud
Eco mode doesn‘t help much. When it gets warm, it automatically switches to noisy mode.
Picture is great, but no automatic keystone compensation. warm air is blown out the back, which really bothered me as the projector stands on the table in front of the sofa and blows directly into your face.
