As a projector, the Sanyo PLV HD2000N / E combines LCD technology with a resolution of HD2K 2048 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 7000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 729 cm can be illuminated with 7000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 486 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
