Designed for the Stationary sector, the PLC ET30 model from Sanyo features 4200 ANSI lumens, a native SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1300:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 564 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 376 cm. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
