The Panasonic PT-VX615N is a LED-LCD projector that brings 5500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 7000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 9.6 years based on two hours of use per day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 646 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 431 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
