The projector PT LB383 by Panasonic utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 3800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 537 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
