A projector from Panasonic is the PT-MZ13KL, whose 3D-Laser-LCD model delivers 13000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 3000000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1158 cm can be illuminated with 13000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 772 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
