The equipment of the Panasonic PT DW100E projector includes 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 with a WXGA 1366 x 768 display. According to Panasonic, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1016 cm can be illuminated with 10000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 677 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
