The hardware properties of the PT DX100 manufactured by Panasonic include 10000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 10000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 10000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 581 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
