The Panasonic PT AE700E is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 1000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. With a value of only 26 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
I bought the projector in 2005.
Now we have 12/2023 - so it‘s almost 20 years old.
It was my first projector so far and is still running.
Movies, series and for games...
Of course, the bulb has been changed, the filter cleaned.
The bulbs don‘t cost much anymore.
Now outdated, no 4k,
but very reliable.
Really worth having bought it back then.

Only Panasonic!
I‘ve already had a few projectors! But I‘ve owned this one for 5 years, and despite resetting the lamps twice, it‘s still running! The picture is brilliant for its age, and the adjustment options are very extensive! I will only buy Panasonic projectors!

Good projector with one flaw
I‘ve owned the device for 1-2 years now and regularly watch movies with it. The device is still good today, 2 years ago it was an absolute top device. We compared at least 10 projectors and the PT AE700 had the best price/performance ratio. DVD via HDMI is really impressive. PC images (especially photos) are acceptable, provided the source can display the correct format. (always cuts off a few lines...)
The only drawback from my point of view is that the HDMI source is always displayed in 16:9, including TV pictures (which are only 4:3). That‘s why I‘ve pulled up a 3rd cable (SVideo) and so you can see some TV.

Price/performance is still good.
Despite the PT AE900, the price/performance is still good.
Pure home theater feeling – thats what the PT-AE700E promises.
