Designed for the Short Distance sector, the PT-TX430 model from Panasonic features 3800 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 16000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 10000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 92 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 537 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 358 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
