With the PT-RQ50K, Panasonic offers a LED-DLP projector that features 50000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Regarding projection size, the value of 50000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1742 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1161 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
