Based on LCD technology, the Panasonic PT-EW650 device delivers 5800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 10000:1 as a projector. According to Panasonic, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 774 cm can be illuminated with 5800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 516 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
