The projector PT TW240 by Panasonic utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 104 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 528 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 352 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
