According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 92 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
