Behind the name PT DW11 is a 3D-DLP projector by Panasonic, whose main features include 11000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution. According to Panasonic, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 11000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1066 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 711 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
