As a projector, the Panasonic PT DZ21 K combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 20000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 20000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1437 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 958 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
