The PT-VMZ50 model is a 3D-LED-LCD projector from Panasonic, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
