The SLM R6 Executive model from Barco combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a native SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. According to Barco, the lamp has a durability of 500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 599 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 399 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
