The projector RLM W12 by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 10500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1100 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1041 cm can be illuminated with 10500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 694 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
