Based on DLP technology, the Barco QDX-N4K45 projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 37500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and a UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 37500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1686 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1124 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
