The projector F50 WUXGA by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5300:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 753 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 502 cm. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
