A projector from Barco is the QDX-W35, whose 3D-LED-DLP model delivers 33000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 2200:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 33000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1846 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 1231 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
