The projector Heimdall+ Cinemascope by Barco operates as a 3D-Laser-DLP device with 6000 ANSI lumens, a 6K 6144 x 2592 resolution and a contrast of 20000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 25000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 17.1 years. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels.
