As a projector, the Barco IQ R300 combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1366 x 768, and is additionally specified with 3300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 400:1. According to Barco, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
