Designed for the Stationary sector, the FS40-4k model from Barco features 3000 ANSI lumens, a native WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1800:1. Barco lists a runtime of 50000 hours for the LED in this projector, covering an estimated 34.2 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
