The technical data of the Barco DP4K-40LHC includes 38000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 as well as a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 display. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 38000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 729 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 486 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
