Based on DLP technology, the Barco HDX-4K20 FLEX device delivers 19000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600 and a contrast of 1900:1 as a projector. According to Barco, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 19000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1200 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 800 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. A massive advantage for fixed installations is the HDBaseT interface, which transmits video, audio, and control signals losslessly over long cable runs. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Barco. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
