Model Overview As a projector, the Barco CineView 12 combines DLP technology with a resolution of SXGA 1280 x 1024, and is additionally specified with 12000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 450:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 500 hours before a replacement is necessary.
The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Lens Shift Calculator is available for room planning.
Regarding projection size, the value of 12000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 927 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 618 cm.
This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Barco's current lineup.
