The projector Galaxy 9 HC+ by Barco utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 9000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1700:1 at a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. According to Barco, the lamp has a durability of 1200 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 9000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 826 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 551 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
