As a projector, the Barco G100-W22 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 18500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1100:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 18500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1382 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 921 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
