The DP4K-P model is a 3D-DLP projector from Barco, intended for E-Cinema applications, offering 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Looking at practical performance, up to 729 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 486 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
