The Titan Super Quad 40 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Digital Projection, intended for Event applications, offering 40000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 2032 cm can be illuminated with 40000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 1355 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
