The HIGHlite 8000dsx+ model from Digital Projection combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. According to Digital Projection, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 779 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range.
