The projector HIGHlite LASER II by Digital Projection operates as a 3D-Laser-DLP device with 13000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 13000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1158 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 772 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range.
