The E-Vision 12000i 4K+ is a 3D-DLP projector by Digital Projection, whose specifications list 10800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1012 cm can be illuminated with 10800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 675 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
